October 12 – 16 (25 – 29) 1902 Ukrainian poetess Lesja Ukrainka passing from Kyiv (via Lviv) to San Remo stopped in Vienna in the apartment of S. Kobylyansky. Stepan Yulianovich Kobylyansky (1866 – 1940) – the elder brother of the writer Olga Kobylyanskaya, a colonel in the Austrian army. He lived here with his wife Eugenia.
