Karl Theater in Vienna

Karl Theater is a musical theater built in the Vienna district of Leopoldstadt in 1847. Lesja Ukrainka was here at a performance in which a French actress participated. It was sometime between January 30 (February 11) and February 2 (14) 1891 (it is not known exactly what performance she was watching).

For the second time, she was here on February 13 (25), 1891, at the play of Ivan Tolstoy’s Tragedy "Ivan the Terrible" (in Italian translation).

It should be noted that this theater was destroyed during the Second World War and dismantled in 1951.
