In early July 1888, Lesja Ukrainka came to Odessa for mud salty baths in the Khadzhibei estuary. We do not know exactly where she lived at the resort, we can only guess that it was villageUsatovo as the closest to Odessa place of estuary. Here she lived (tentatively) until mid-August 1888, after which she returned to Odessa.

For the second time, Lesja Ukrainka came to the Khadzhibei estuary sometime on June 15, 1889 and lived here, taking baths, until the end of August 1889.
