Lesja Ukrainka and her father came from Kolodjazhne to Kyiv on February 1 or 2, 1890. She stopped at the Sikorska house on the Tarasovska street, 18, with her friend Natalie Vyshynska. At this time her brother Michael (a student at Kyiv University) and other acquaintances lived in the same house.
At this time Lesja Ukrainka not only consulted doctors about her sore foot, but also did creative work, participated in meetings of the literary group "Pleiada".
Around March 10, 1890, she returned to the Kolodjazhne.
The Sikorsky memorable house has not been preserved. In 1938, a 6-7-storey residential building was erected in its place, as shown in the photo.
